Scantling Development - Basic

 

Basic scantlings detail typical structures from general arrangements, one typical bulkhead, one typical frame, main deck and shell expansions. Full vessel access is required as all structures are to be measured onsite for confirmation. Recommended prior to any survey or repair period as all basic structures will be prepared into AutoCAD drawing files. General arrangements are required for organizational purposes to keep track of locations during project stages.

 

Scantling Development - Premium

 

Premium scantlings detail all structures from general arrangements, super structures, all bulkheads, all frames, main deck, and shell expansions to the finest details of flat bars and brackets. Full vessel access is required as all structures are to be measured onsite for confirmation. Recommended when full scantlings prints are required before any survey or repair period as all structures will be prepared into AutoCAD drawing files. Premium scantlings may include additional review and approval by an architectural firm and the classification society, additional expenses will apply. Where required drawings can be developed to show scantling reductions that have been approved by a classification society.
